One of my other issues is, that the dualshocks will get unpaired with PS4 after they are paired with the TV and I had to connect them by cable to the PS4 when I wanted to use them. If the bugs (problems with 2 controllers and steamlink) get sorted out, we have a WINNER. With the addition of Xbox and PS4 controllers + steamlink support, it’s poised to take over game streaming and arcade home gaming. The main takeaway is that the TV 4K has become a full fledged gaming platform after 2 years and it will get better. verify all buttons/joys/triggers work (circle x2 to exit test) connect to host pc. link menu -> settings -> controller -> test. on the link, add the wireless controller. So if I press down on the d pad it will go down twice ect. Don’t know where the problem is but I sure hope it gets resolved. hold share + ps on the ds4 til it flashes white. So far the link is working amazing but on certain games there is double input with the ps4 controller. This is a downside or feature I suppose of using NVidia GameStream + moonlight over steam + steam link - GameStream abstracts remote controller input to xinput, which is limited to mapping controls to an xbox-360-like controller. I'm not concerned about any particular controller or lay out, happy to try anything that works. Link an account from a game purchased on Steam Open Steam, and then launch a game that supports Xbox account linking (for example, Gears 5). It registers as a PS4 controller on the link, but by the time it gets to my PC, it registers as a 360 controller, and mixes up the key mapping a bit.Īnyways, this controller has begun bugging out, and has had analogue drift for a while so I think it's good opportunity to invest in a new controller. I've been using an old DS4 controller, to varying degrees of success. My PC is wireless, and my Steam link is wired. I'm using the Steam Link hardware, and Moonlight.
